For this first image, I utilized the skills we learned by using the embedding tool and the image tracing tool to choose which sections of colors can be manipulated. I then played around with the recolor wheel to make it into a purple sky rather than a blue and white sky. I also added a patterned stroke to line the clouds and varying colors in the sky.
For this second image, I practiced using the butterfly image from the example choices given during class. These images allowed us to use the black and white image tracing options. I then used the bucket of paint to fill in the empty sections of the butterfly and chose a nude color scheme for the center pieces. I added bits of color on the outer portions of the butterfly to complement the nude colors inside.
